The following policies are as of February 2023 and they may be updated as situations dictate. COVID-19 VACCINE WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ENTRY INTO ANIME BOSTON All persons, including but not limited to attendees, exhibitors, guests, and staff, that are 6 years old or older, entering the Hynes Convention Center as well as the Sheraton spaces for Anime Boston must show proof of vaccination. Proof of vaccination must show you have completed your primary doses no later than two weeks prior to the start of the convention. A valid CDC issued card must be shown to enter all convention spaces. That can include a physical vaccination card, a photo of your card, or digital proof from a SMART based system. Anime Boston will also accept proof of any vaccination as cleared by the World Health Organization (WHO) and can be found here. ATTENDEES UNDER 6 MONTHS OLD If a child is under 6 months old, no other actions must be taken. FACE COVERINGS Anime Boston strongly recommends that individuals wear a mask during the convention. Anime Boston may change this into a requirement as we continue to monitor cases leading up to the convention. ADDITIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES Additional safety measures will be in place in the Hynes Convention Center during the duration of the convention. Hand Sanitizer stations have been added throughout the building and staff will be working throughout the day to wipe down handrails, door knobs, escalator railings and elevator buttons. A full cleaning and sanitizing will take place each day as well. MEDICAL EXEMPTIONS Unfortunately, anyone that is 6 months old or older and unvaccinated will not be allowed to attend our convention. As a large convention, we care about the health and safety of all of our attendees. If you find that this policy causes a conflict with an already purchased badge, please contact our Registration Customer Service Department. GENERAL WELLNESS We ask that all attendees self-evaluate prior to coming to Anime Boston in order to protect others at the event. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has had COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to the event, please do not enter the Hynes Convention Center or the Sheraton meeting spaces.
