This is the application for the Anime Boston 2025 Dealers' Room. Anime Boston 2025 will be held at the Hynes Convention Center, 900 Boylston Street, Boston, Massachusetts. Exhibit space will be located at the Hynes Convention Center Exhibit Halls C and D. The rental fee for exhibit space will be One Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($1300) for an in-line booth and One Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($1400) for a corner booth. These prices are per 10ft x 10ft booth, and include two complimentary Dealer memberships to Anime Boston 2024 which act as your convention membership. Booths include an 8 foot long draped table, a waste basket, two chairs, and a sign with your company name and booth number. Please note that the prices do not include telephone jacks, dedicated internet, or electrical outlets, which may be purchased directly through the appropriate vendors. Information about technical and utility services will be provided to Exhibitors renting space.
Tax ID: Exhibitors are required to provide a valid ST-1 taxpayer identification for the purposes of filing a Show Promoter Report with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The form for securely submitting this information electronically is located at https://www.animeboston.com/forms/exhibitor_taxid/. Exhibitors are also required to register with the Massachusetts Department of Revenue (DOR) https://mtc.dor.state.ma.us/mtc/_/.
Reselling/Sharing/Subletting: Exhibitors are prohibited from reselling, sharing, and subletting their booth(s) without prior written permission from the Exhibits Director. Any exhibitor found doing so will be removed from the hall with no refund and will be banned from vending for subsequent years.
Exhibitors may begin installation on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. All Exhibits must be in place by 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 23, 2025. Failure to do so will result in your booth space being resold by the event organizer. All Exhibits must be removed by 5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 25, 2025. Materials not removed by this time will be removed by the Promoter and placed into storage and/or shipped at Exhibitor’s expense.
Anime Boston bans the following items from our vendor hall:
Unlicensed Merchandise (including Fan Art and Fanmade Merchandise): Anime Boston does not allow the sale of unlicensed merchandise in our Dealers' Room. This includes but is not limited to bootleg (unlicensed mass-produced) merchandise, "factory seconds" merchandise, fan art, and handmade items making unlicensed use of another party’s intellectual property. This includes, but is explicitly not limited to anime properties, and also includes any logos or emblems used in such properties. Exceptions are made for doujinshi fan comic books procured at Comiket. Any Exhibitor carrying such items may be removed from the vendor hall for the entire duration of Anime Boston with no refund and may be banned from future Anime Boston events.
Stickers: Exhibitor agrees to refrain from the sale or distribution of stickers under any circumstance. This includes, but is not limited to stickers, decals, and clings, and vinyl clings. Any Exhibitor found selling stickers will be asked to remove them from the Exhibit Hall. Exhibitor is permitted to adhere a sticker to an item, but it should be securely adhered before it leaves Exhibitor’s booth. A repeated violation of this policy may result in Exhibitor’s expulsion from Anime Boston with no refund of the Exhibit Space Rental Fee.
Weapons: Exhibitor agrees to refrain from the sale/distribution of any item listed in the Weapons section of Anime Boston's Prohibited Items Policy, located at https://www.animeboston.com/policy/convention_policy#prohibited-items. All items in this category not covered by the prohibited items policy must be officially licensed and in its original packaging. Any Exhibitor found selling/distributing these items will be asked to remove them from the Exhibit Hall. Repeated violations of this policy may result in Exhibitor's expulsion from Anime Boston with no refund of the Exhibit Space Rental Fee.
Food and Drink: Facility regulations prohibit the sale/distribution of food and drinks unless the vendor has an active contract with MCCA's food contractor, Levy Restaurants. The Vendor/Exhibitor must provide verifiable proof of contract to the Exhibits division prior to filling out this application. The Exhibits division will verify all contracts with Levy directly. Any Exhibitor found distributing food and/or drinks without an active, verified contract with Levy and permission from the Anime Boston Exhibits Director will be asked to remove the offending items from the Exhibit hall. A repeated violation of this policy will result in Exhibitor’s expulsion from Anime Boston 2025 with no refund of the Exhibit Space Rental Fee. Food and Drink includes, but is not limited to, Ramune, Pocky, Tea (including leaves), Coffee (including beans/grounds), and Chocolate.
AI art: Anime Boston does not allow the sale of products using AI-derived artwork (large model, generative, etc.) This includes, but is not exclusive to: prints, decorative wall-hangings, books, shirts, and drinking glasses and mugs. Any Exhibitor selling "original" work found to be derived from artificial intelligence processes may be removed from the exhibit hall for the entire duration of Anime Boston with no refund and may be banned from future Anime Boston events.
MCCA Policies: All Exhibitors must follow all listed/enforced MCCA policies, including any MCCA Public Safety Officer/Security Officer instructions. MCCA's Prohibited Items policy is located at: https://www.signatureboston.com/plan/plan-your-event/public-safety. Violations of these policies will be enforced by MCCA public safety.

This workshop will cover the basics of EVA Foam and demonstrate principles of weathering and material manipulation in a hands-on workshop experience.
