A Conversation with OGS Commissioner Jeanette Moy

The City of Albany’s three Business Improvement Districts – Central Avenue BID, Downtown Albany BID, and Lark Street BID – invite you to a presentation by New York State Office of General Services Commissioner Jeanette Moy on March 5 at 10:00 AM at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Albany. This presentation will cover Governor Kathy Hochul's proposed Executive Budget for Fiscal Year 2025, which includes a $400 million investment in downtown Albany and its potential benefits for the broader Capital Region. The presentation will highlight key initiatives and features of the overall budget proposal, focusing on the State's commitment to making New York more affordable, livable, and safe. It will also emphasize a fiscally responsible approach that aims to keep the State on a steady course for years to come. There will be time allotted for questions at the end of the presentation. Georgette Steffens, Downtown Albany BID Executive Director, will provide the welcome and moderate the Q&A portion of the meeting.
