Central Checkout: We will be providing a central checkout. We will be taking an 18% commission of total sales. This commission goes towards merchant fees, advertising, market decor, market giveaways, assistants, and other costs.
Vendors are NOT required to man their booth. We understand that some vendors want to stay in their booth -- whether for better sales, explanation of products, or safety of products and displays. While we allow vendors at their booth, ALL SALES MUST nevertheless be processed through our central checkout. If you are discovered taking your own payments, you may be asked to leave the market.
Displays: Vendors are responsible for the provision and security of all display items - tables, clothing racks, shelves, back drops, tablecloths, extra lighting, extension cords, etc. Access to electricity or wall space is available upon request.
Absolutely NO nails or tacks of any sort are allowed on the venue walls.
Vendor ID: All sale items MUST be clearly marked with your vendor ID and price. Please use the vendor ID you input on your application.
Vendor Payment: A check will be mailed to you (to the address on your application) within 10-14 business days of the market ending.
Utah Sales Tax: All Utah State Sales Tax collected will be paid by Market Lane LLC (“Market Lane,” hereafter). Market Lane is not responsible for individual vendor’s income taxes. We require a current year W-9 for all vendors. If you previously submitted a W-9 to us in 2023, you need not submit one again.
Security & Risk: Market Lane will take reasonable steps to minimize theft, damage, and mistakes at the event, but it cannot guarantee that such will not occur. We will walk the venue frequently to discourage theft, as well as monitor exits and dressing rooms by reasonable means.
Market Lane is not responsible for any damage to or loss of merchandise or display items that may be lost, stolen or damaged. Market Lane also is not responsible for any discrepancies between vendor’s beginning/ending inventories and Market Lane’s point-of-sale summation. Market Lane, nevertheless, will consider all reasonably-supported facts associated with such discrepancies.
Liability & Indemnification: In consideration of my being allowed, as a Vendor, to participate in Market Lane’s “Pop-Up Shops,” “Markets,” or “Shows” (the “Event” or “Activity”), I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily waive and release any and all of my rights, claims, or causes of action of any kind whatsoever arising out of my participation in the Activity. Furthermore, I do hereby release and forever discharge Market Lane, its affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, assistants, employees, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns from any and all claims for damages due to physical, psychological, or other injury, including but not limited to illness, paralysis, death, damages, economic or emotional loss, that I may suffer as a result of my participation in the aforementioned Activity, including travel to and from any event related to this Activity. Vendors also agree to be personally liable for any and all injury or damage to other vendors, visitors, customers, or any person or to property which is caused by or may occur by their own products/merchandise or displays before the show, during the show or at take down. Vendors are responsible for their own licensing, permits and insurance.
