About the event
Small-town Americana invites you to enjoy 450+ food and craft booths, live entertainment, contests, outdoor shopping, a car show and games. Come experience a family-friendly event over a three-day weekend in the heart of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, rooted deep in tradition. 58 years strong, the biggest highlight is stirring apple butter in old copper kettles on the courthouse lawn to pay homage to the festival founders. Admission is free, and we have the largest parade in southwest Missouri, wiener dog races, and a fun outdoor shopping experience that will keep you coming back year after year.
