50th Annual New Tazewell Merchants Association Christmas Parade

● All vehicles must have and show proof of liability insurance. ● All vehicles must be clean in appearance. ● Parade Float Numbers should appear on the passenger side of all vehicles/floats. If number is not visible you will not be judged! ● Please keep no more than 10 feet behind the vehicle in front of you ● Any vehicle deemed unsafe or not appropriate for the parade will be asked not to participate ● Vehicles that have open headers or that are unfinished in any way will not be allowed to participate ● No 4-wheelers are permitted in the parade ● All floats or parade entries must be in line and ready by 11:00 AM ● No Santa may be present on any float. The parade Santa rides in the back of the parade ● All Motorcycles that are in the parade must be in line by 12:00 pm ● A drivers meeting will be held at 12PM at the Santa Clause Float. ● No participants riding horses allowed. ● You have 30 days within the parade to collect prize money, you MUST go to the Sign Center to pick up check. ● Judging will be on commercial floats with 1st Place $300, 2nd Place $200, and 3rd Place $100. ● Judging will be on Non-Profit organizations, ie... Churches, Schools, Charities, etc. with 1st place $300, 2nd Place $200, and 3rd Place $100. ● Every Float/Vehicle must register. (NO exceptions) ● Please know all judging will be held as you drive through the parade, judges will be set up in front of First Century Bank. Judging will be on creativity. • We will allow cheerleaders and dance teams with adult supervision to walk through the parade this year. You MUST stay with your group at all times!! IF YOU HAVE PREPAID PLEASE BRING RECEIPT WITH YOU FOR PROOF OF PAYMENT OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED AGAIN.
