Thank you for your interest in vending at the 2025 Memphis in May International Festival. Our 47th edition of the famed World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest will be held in Liberty Park in Midtown Memphis on May 14th - 17th, 2025.
The World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest is the celebration of Memphis’ claim as the Barbecue Capital of the World. More than 150 competition teams from across the country and around the world compete for over $189,000 in prize money. Expected attendance for this four-day event is approximately 35,000-45,000+.
Detailed below you will find preliminary concession vendor requirements and selection criteria for participation. Please read the information carefully before completing the application. Memphis in May will issue invitations and contracts based on the information provided in the application. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications may be submitted by US Mail, e-mail to mim@memphisinmay.org, or electronically.
The deadline for concession vendor applications is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025. Selected vendors will be notified via email on March 7, 2025. Signed contracts with full payment are due April 11, 2025.

- Eighteen (18) 24-hour wristiks for championship pork categories (Whole Hog, Shoulder or Rib) or eight (8) 24-hour wristiks for Patio Porker category
- Two (2) vehicle load-in passes
- One (1) team parking pass
- One (1) 110v/20a circuit
- One (1) 2025 Commemorative WCBCC Poster
- One (1) 2025 WCBCC apron

Judges for this ultimate competition recieve the following:
- Two (2) four-day wristbands for admission & re-entry
- One (1) parking pass
- Admission to the judging hospitality area with complimentary beverages and snacks
- One (1) 2025 WCBCC Judge's apron
- One (1) 2025 WCBCC Judge's pin
- One (1) 2025 WCBCC Commemorative poster
- And of course, tasting some of the best barbecue on the planet!
