The 11th Mountaineer Brewfest , brought to you by Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack, is a celebration of West Virginia’s finest craft and microbrews, will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the Heritage Port in Wheeling, WV. Enjoy craft beer from the best breweries in West Virginia, local artisan food, and great entertainment! And the Mountaineer Brewfest has raised over $267,000 to date for local charities thru festival proceeds! Early Bird tickets on sale June 1st thru July 31st, prices increase starting August 1st! Only 2200 general admission tickets and 200 VIP tickets will be sold. General admission includes 10 samples, commemorative mug, and great entertainment. In addition to the general admission items, the VIP ticket features early festival entrance (3:00pm), special VIP only beers, special entertainment, a food voucher, 10 additional samples, and a commemorative VIP item. The "VIP + Thursday" ticket also includes an invitation to our Thursday beer & food pairing at Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack. Designated Driver tickets are available for both GA and VIP. The Mountaineer Brewfest additionally features a Beer Garden with additional craft beers for purchase, local artisan food for purchase, and the best in entertainment! The festival hours are VIP entry 3:00pm, General Admission entry at 4:00pm, the festival ends at 10:00pm. This is a rain or shine event.

Parking instructions

Parking is available in the Wheeling Intermodal Center located at 1401 Main Street, Wheeling, WV 26003 and can be reached at 304-233-4624. Street parking is available in Wheeling on a first come, first served basis. Additionally, parking is available in surface lots along Main Street within short walking distance of the Wheeling Heritage Port. Accessible parking is available in the Wheeling Intermodal Center. Designated spaces are available for vehicles displaying a current state-issued disability placard or license plate. These accessible spaces are filled on a first come, first served basis, so please plan accordingly.

Thank you for your interest in becoming the sponsored charity for the 2025 Mountaineer Brewfest. Our festival showcases West Virginia’s diverse entries in the Craft and Microbrew market, strengthens community ties, and promotes tourism for our city and region. Each year the Mountaineer Brewfest committee selects one local charity to receive proceeds from our festival.

Our Mission Statement:

To promote West Virginia’s unique and growing industry of craft and microbreweries
To provide the public an opportunity to learn about West Virginia’s craft and microbrewers and their products
To provide the best in Craft Beer, Entertainment, and Food from West Virginia all within a relaxed atmosphere.
To encourage community, tourism, and growth within the city of Wheeling by:
- Working with local officials and businesses to provide a sustainable event
- By donating festival proceeds to local charities
With over $267,000 raised in our first 10 years through festival proceeds and tips collected by volunteers of the Circus Saints and Sinners, we are proud to have helped Wheeling Health Right, Harmony House, St. John’s Home for Children, Habitat for Humanity – Wheeling, Ohio Valley Sexual Assault Help Center, the Augusta Levy Learning Center, A Special Wish Foundation – Ohio Valley Chapter, the Seeing Hand Association, Family Service-Upper Ohio Valley, Helping Heroes and more!

Feature your craft brews at the Mountaineer Brewfest, where West Virginia's finest breweries meet thousands of passionate beer lovers. Don't miss this opportunity to elevate your unique creations at this celebrated craft beer festival. Applications are now open! Only 18 WV Craft Brewer Sites are available, a $100 Deposit holds your site, and your deposit will be returned to you the day of the event.

Participating Breweries will receive:

A free, 10x10 tent (table, tablecloth, & chairs) including banner with your Brewery name/logo
1 Complimentary Friday and Saturday night hotel room
Day of festival catered lunch & evening meal vouchers
Dedicated volunteers to assist with ice stocking of your booth
Ability to sell your merchandise at the festival
Your logo on all festival promotional media
Volunteer pourers, Rinse Stations, Parking pass
Competition: Festival officials will be judging your beer for awards
Friday Evening Brewers Reception (TBA)

Terms & Conditions

You must be 21 years of Age to enter, no exceptions. Valid photo ID required for entry. Wheeling Heritage Port is a smoke free venue No pets permitted except service animals No large bags or coolers allowed, all bags and backpacks are subject to search. No outside food or beverage permitted. Tickets are not transferable. Ticket sales are nonrefundable The festival hours are: VIP entry 3:00pm, General Admission entry at 4:00pm, the festival ends at 10:00pm. This is a rain or shine event.
