About the event
The Georgetown Main Street Program invites you to be part of the 15th Annual Georgetown Swirl, a Texas Downtown Association (TDA) Presidents Award-winning Texas wine, local food, and downtown shopping celebration, on the Georgetown Square. The event will be on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The Georgetown Swirl will include tastings from Texas wineries as well as amazing food from local restaurants located inside the fabulous downtown retail stops. Each attendee will receive a commemorative tasting glass and will have their choice of 10 wine samples and a tasting at each of the participating restaurants. The retail locations will have Swirl shopping specials for guests, so treat yourself to a few things while you’re out swirling around downtown! Live jazz music by Swing Shift will set a fun and festive mood. Don’t miss out on the fun! A total of 475 general admission tickets are sold for $60 each to keep the event an intimate gathering. 125 VIP tickets are available for $125 each for early access to the VIP Reception from 4- 5:30 p.m. VIP guests will enjoy a special custom menu paired with Texas wines. It is an experience you do not want to miss! Check-In for VIP guests will be at City Post Chophouse starting at 4 p.m. Check-In for General Admission guests will be at the Georgetown Art Center starting at 5:30 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Georgetown Main Street Facade & Sign Grant Program which has awarded over $700,000 in matching grant funds back to over 100 downtown property and business owners.

It’s time once again for one of our favorite signature events …The Georgetown Swirl. This is our 15th year to offer this award-winning local food, Texas wine, and downtown shopping event. The Swirl will be held from 5 - 8:30 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2025.

 

As the number of retail shops in Downtown continues to grow, the buzz around this event is getting louder. So, we’ve made the difficult decision to mix things up a bit this year.

 

Retail stops will be selected by a jury to ensure the best possible event experience. We will be spreading the love throughout the square and downtown with plenty of space to sip and shop. If your store is not selected to host a winery or restaurant, don't fret! We'd still love for you to participate by keeping your doors open late for shoppers, plus you’ll get a shout-out on the event website.

Its time again for one of our favorite events. The Georgetown Swirl! This is our 15th year and are excited for another sold out event. We cannot do these successful events without the help of our wonderful volunteers. As a volunteer, you will also be able to purchase tickets at half price. We are limited on the amount of tickets so make sure you get yours early.
