We are so thankful to our location sponsor, the WME Theatres and their amazing Teddy Croney.  She not only sponsors our market with the use of her parking lot, but she comes and helps us setup, makes a stroll around the area to see if any of the vendors need assistance and how their day is going, and manages our tourism booth, handing out local maps, magazines, hiking guides, bear and other animal information to help all of our residents, tourists and second homers get around our beautiful region efficiently and safely. MY STORY
My name is Sydney Tracy, and I am the owner and operator of Paw Prints on Woodland.  

My grandfather came to Pinetop-Lakeside in 1961 from Dayton, Ohio while my grandmother is from Snowflake, Arizona.  They were married in 1964 and that is where my connection to this community really began.  I was born in Show Low and grew up attending both Blue Ridge and Show Low School Districts.  During junior high my mother and I made the move to Spanish Fork, Utah where I finished high school and attended collage at Utah Valley University for a degree in elementary education.  My husband and I were married there and have two children.  

In 2019 it was time for a change, which brought me and my family back to my hometown.  

My grandfather asked me in November of that year if I wanted to run a pet cremation facility.  I told him I'd be open to it and so began my journey in final pet care.  

After the arrival of my newly built equipment, I opened my door in September of 2020.

Paw Prints on Woodland is a labor of love for me.  I often see people on their worst days.  Pets have a special place in our hearts and when people come to see me, they are grieving the loss of theirs.  My purpose is to help clients take the first step on their path to healing during such a difficult time.  The entire cremation process, from meeting clients and receiving pets, to returning cremated remains is designed to provide confidence in my services and to provide comfort. 

I have met some incredible people along the way and cared for some very beloved pets.  I didn't know that I could do something like this, nor did I think I would love it the way I do, but I definitely do and more than anything I want to serve this community and it's furry companions for a long, long time to come.

This small mountain town has just a few shopping options for the heavily populated summer season, so this market is an extremely busy and a fun attraction for the multitude of local residents, summer residents and vacationers that flock to our region for its beauty and to beat the summer heat of the Tucson/Phoenix desert valleys. Ready to Eat Vendors need to know: I am NOT allowed to compete with restaurants in the WME Villiage 8 Plaza, so no pizza or deli style :( Really looking for breakfast foods, beverages, asian flavor, india flavor, vegan flavor any "take and bakes", and all prepackaged foods :) BTW... the plaza restaurants don't open until 11 am and none have breakfast items.
