A landscape with a variety of native plant species, planted in the right location. 2. Wise management of soil and moisture. 3. Reduce stormwater and its pollutants. 4. A landscape with a variety of plant species that attract a variety of pollinators. 5. Practice Integrated Pest Management methods that avoid the routine use of pesticides. 6. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle If you or a neighbor have an environmentally friendly yard or garden, submit a Rowlett Smart Yard Fall Entry Survey, https://www.eventeny.com/onsite/survey/?e=13234&s=962, between Wednesday, August 7 at 8:00am and Wednesday, September 4 at 12:00pm. We will schedule a tour of your garden the week of September 9-13. The winners will be announced on September 20 on the Rowlett website and social media and with a yard sign for all to see.
