The Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (BBCRA), in partnership with the City of Delray Beach, Town of Hypoluxo, and Town of Lantana invite all local boaters to participate in this year’s Holiday Boat Parade! Boats must be decorated and lighted (no spotlights). The parade will form at the Ocean Avenue Bridge in Lantana (near Old Key Lime House) and starts promptly at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 13th, traveling south to the C-15 Canal in Delray Beach (south of Linton Boulevard).
Entry for the Holiday Boat Parade is FREE, however, each participant is required to bring a new, unwrapped tow to the mandatory captains' meeting. Toys will be donated to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
All skippers and mates are required to attend the mandatory captains’ meeting on December 9th, 2024 at 6:30pm at A'lu Mexican Cuisine, 1080 Gateway Blvd, Boynton Beach, FL 33426. During the meeting important information will be shared from the BBPD Marine Unit and US Coast Guard.
Prizes will be awarded for First, Second, and Third Place in three size categories: Under 25 feet, 25 feet to 34 feet, and 35 feet and up. The City of Boynton Beach and Boynton Beach CRA staff, Commissioners and Board Members may enter boats in the parade; however, they may not receive gifts or cash prizes. All boaters must finish the parade to be eligible for prizes.
Awards Dinner will be on January 9th, 2025, at A'lu Mexican Cuisine, 1080 Gateway Blvd, Boynton Beach, FL 33426. Following the Boat Parade, all participants will receive an invitation to the dinner, which will require a RSVP.
