About the event
On behalf of the City of College Park, we would like to invite you to participate in our 1st Annual College Park Juneteenth Freedom Parade and Music! Calling all Departments, Family March for Human Rights units, Community Leaders, Youth Groups, Marching Bands, Performers, Floats, and Classic Automobiles to celebrate Juneteenth. The starting point will be 3872 College St, College Park, Ga 30337. Please assemble between 8:00 a.m. (EDT) and 8:30 AM (EDT) on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. The parade will start promptly at 10:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) and end at 12:00 PM. Event Outline: Parade – 10am-12pm Movie on the Lawn – 1pm-3pm Vendor Fair – 4pm-8pm Kids’ Zone – 4pm-8pm Music on the Lawn – 6pm-8pm

PARADE ROUTE: The Parade will depart from Truist Bank (on Main Street) traveling1.2 miles of Main St. (S.R 14/U.S.29) from Lee St to Vesta Ave. The starting point will be 3872 College St, College Park, Ga 30337 PARADE LINE UP Early arrival is requested to ensure safety and proper group line up. • SECTION A– Please enter at Truist Bank (3857 Main Street) • SECTIONS B – Please enter at John Wesley Ave. (Proceed to College Park Regional Health Center- 1920 John Wesley Ave. • Section C - Proceed to College Park Regional Health Center- 1920 John Wesley Ave. AWARDS: Location near City Hall and College Park Auditorium.

She Began Her Broadcasting Career At WCTV In Tallahassee, FL. As a reporter /anchor. From there she moved to Oklahoma and began anchoring the 9 o'clock news on Freedom 43 and was Weekend Evening Anchor on KFOR NewsChannel 4.
