I paid for a show in September for the Brooklyn Wine & Chocolate Show. We have participated in many of your shows and it was always good however not only did you all cancel the show, I never was reimbursed! Initially I emailed to just swap out for another show and my request wasn't responded to , then I sent 4 other messages and still nothing not even reimbursed! There are so many shows and yours is just one of many and we loved your show but I have had to contact my bank since time was running out to get my money back and this isn't the route I wanted to take!
I am highly disappointed that you aren't taking our money seriously. We spend over $15,000 a year in show fees so your show is one that we pay in advance with our trust and this was violated, not to mention we prepay for rental cars and hotels so that we get a better discount and we loose more than your small 320
In the future please do better by your vendors since we invest in what we feel is right and this is wrong!!!
I was notified on November 20th that the Brooklyn Chocolate, Wine & Whiskey Festival 2024, scheduled for December 9th, had been canceled. I was informed it was due to various reasons. I was told I was to receive a refund for the upcoming weeks and wasn't given one which confused me. If the event is not happening, why do vendors have to wait for a refund if the event didn't occur? I contacted Charlie again on December 18th to follow up and was told the refund could not be processed. Chase informed me that someone attempted to remove another $319.41 on that same card the same day he said he was trying to refund it. I contacted him again to ask for a business number for us to resolve this because, if I invested money for one event, and it was canceled, how can I ensure the next event will happen and how does the refund process work?
As a new business owner, we invest our money to be vendors in hopes of selling our products, networking, but this has been extremely frustrating.
I have been a vendor for several years. I was accepted into a show for 2024 back in October 2023. Was notified the end of December I was refunded because they needed more room for chocolate.
They are currently still taking applications for crafters and other vendors. Will not answer why they are still accepting vendors and I was refunded.
I am out money now because of the cancellation as I had all of my product ready to go for this show.
