Reading Pride is a 501(c)(3) not for profit founded in 2006 by a group of friends who thought our community needed a Pride Festival. Since then, Reading Pride has put on 18 consistent years of festivals. Our festival has grown each year, with attendance from all over the commonwealth and neighboring states. Our festival has led to many expansions of our initial mission, launching new programs, and expanding the services we offer to the LGBTQ+ community. Our Mission: To support the LGBTQ+ community in the Greater Reading area by celebrating the rich tapestry of our culture and history and being a unified voice in times of need. Our Vision: A culture in which equity, respect, love and joy exists for all members of our community.
