This Kunzite nugget in wrapped in a single piece of Argentum sterling silver. The wire simply holds the stone no other adornment.
Kunzite is a fairly young gemstone and was only discovered in 1902 by gemstone specialist and jeweler George Frederick Kunz. It was discovered in San Diego County, California. Kunzite is of the pink Spodumene variety. It’s a gemstone that has a pink to violet color, and sometimes it’s even colorless.
Kunzite is a beautiful crystal, pure in energy and joyful in nature. In palest pink to light violet hues, it is a Stone of Emotion, opening and connecting the heart to the mind and stimulating a healing communion between the two.

I started my jewelry business as a hobby about ten years ago. I have added and adapted my items and style through the years. My wire wrapping style has changed also, I prefer wrapping freeform pieces as these are more creative and challenging.
I have done a number of in person craft shows, but last year there were none. Trying to get my business back on track this year.
