MEET THE ARTIST: Diana Wilkes
Diana Wilkes is a West Coast, Canadian artist who finds inspiration in the play of light with shadows, reflections, and colour combinations. She leads us into exciting ways of seeing patterns and shapes that suggest and play with our imaginations—ways we may have never seen before.
Playing with her intuition, Diana blurs the line between realism and abstraction and seeks not to imitate nature but to showcase its unique elements. Diana plays with a subject, emphasizing design and teasing out the mood or whimsy that an image evokes. It’s all about the “feels!”
