Victoria Stone cabochon set in Sterling Silver
Victoria stone is a reconstructed material created by Dr. Imori of Japan. Materials such as quartz, feldspar, magnesite, calcite, flourspar, ect. were fused under high pressure and high temperature. Special crystallizers and habit regulators would then be added to create the three dimensional fanning array shown here. After Dr. Imori passed years ago, his process was never passed down and from this day on the exact duplication process is still a mystery.
