Fog is such a wondrous, magical element in photography. Yet so hard to find. Hence this image taking 3 years to capture. It was predicted to be foggy at least once if not more times each year - yet only happened once. This time. Was worth the wait.
This is taken from a ridgeline overlooking Stevens Canyon on the southeast side of Mount Rainier in Washington state. Taken not long after sunrise in early July.
The image is a 24"x30" photograph mounted to Gatorboard with a matte lamination that both protects the print (hence no glass is used) and the micro-texture removes all light reflections. No matter where it is hung, light hitting the surface will not cause glare off the surface as will glass or acrylic
