"Valley Fog" 18" x 24" gallery-wrap canvas

This image was taken early summer from a ridge over looking Stevens Canyon on the southeast flank of Mount Rainier. It took 3 years to capture. Fog was predicted several times but never materialized. As you can see, the fog makes all the difference! The image is printed as an 18" x 24" gallery-wrap canvas on a keyed stretcher frame. "Gallery-wrap" means the image wraps around the edges of the stretcher frame so all you see is the image. "Keyed" stretcher frame means there are small wooden keys on the backside of the frame. if the canvas ever becomes less taught, you tap the wooden keys into the joints and the canvas re-tightens. Simple, elegant and effective! The image is signed and numbered from my edition of 400.
