Turritella Agate is of the Chalcedony variety, which is a part of the Quartz family. It has a rich, earthy black or brown color, and it can be easily recognized by the fossilized snail and sea creature patterns in the stone. The name Agate come from the Achates River in Sicily where Agates were first discovered.
This beautiful specimen is wrapped in copper wire with a small dragonfly accent and subtle flourishes. It can be worn on a chain or leather. It is presented in a box ready for gift giving.
