Designed started with a smashed racecar that needed a new number, and a few wedding gifts for family that I didn't want to just blend into the gifts everyone else could purchase. Those gifts morphed into my first vendor event. I emptied all the cool refurbished furniture out of my own house to attend. That first event sold out, and sold me on my ability to design and produce items that all of you have graciously brought into your own homes. The creativity is strong in our house, and I hope my own kiddos help to keep the momentum going as they get older and are able to start chipping in on the creating.
