Trichodiadema densum 'Mini Desert Rose'

Trichodiadema densum 'Mini Desert Rose' is a visually distinct plant that may appear similar to a cactus due to its white-bristled leaves. However, it is actually an ice plant with glittery and textured foliage. Despite its small size, it forms a dense mat and stays under 4.0" in height. This plant is fully rooted in a 3.5" pot and produces a wide caudex when mature. When placed high in the soil with some exposed roots, it can make an impressive bonsai plant. This South African species is known for its winter blooming and produces large magenta flowers that open in the morning and close by afternoon.
