Deep channels are gouged into a solid piece of Poplar and blackened with flame. The bold texture and striking contrast create a sense of strength that's both primitive and modern. The thick, crusty surfaces of the ceramic core are equally primal, like molten earth. A 14K gold over-glazed center reflector catches the light of the flame and lights up the interior. Glass-like, it's easy to keep clean and bright. A removable lamp is hidden in the bottom section of wood, while heat from the flame is channeled safely through a chimney hidden behind the top section of wood. Trouble-free and easy to use, this lamp has a fiberglass wick that will never need trimming or replacing, and comes with a plastic squirt bottle that makes filling the lamp very easy- just lift the stopper and squirt oil into the top. Filled, it will burn for around 8 hours. Comes with an info card explaining wick adjustment and where to find the “ULTRAPURE/ smokeless and odorless/ liquid paraffin,” I recommend. It mounts on the wall by resting on a wooden cleat that's easy to install with a couple screws.
