Wolves are a creatures of mythical reputation, featured in fairy tales and fables, myths and legends, as both villains and saviors. Wolf is ruthless and wise, the dangerous gentleman, the savage beast, the golden eyes beyond the firelight, the lonesome howl that rends the night. They entice our imaginations. Both beloved and feared, perhaps because they resemble the faithful companions tamed by our ancestors, or because they remind us of what remains untamed.... The miniature mask is a tribute our favorite beast, and a celebration of the wolf within us all. Decorated in gorgeous filigree, it is alive with baroque details and gleaning eyes of inset crystal. Available in both bronze and sterling silver. The necklace has a 16 inch antique brass chain with a 4 inch extender, for a fit that is adjustable between 16 and 20 inches (can be lengthened upon request.) A pendant option is also available, if you prefer a separate chain.
