I hand cut the bird out of sterling silver and soldered a textured piece of silver on the back. I layered another piece of textured silver under the bird and then an additional plane piece of silver under that one. I bundled a bunch of silver wires together with a thin piece of silver wire. The chain goes through a loop in the back of the piece. The chain is 18 in,
