Talk about a beautiful art piece--this is it. It is designed to hang on the wall. Comes with a sturdy hook device for walls. This piece is made up of strips of glass--some opaque and transparent glass. It will stand off from the wall about .5 inches. It has been handmade by me. The piece is fired in my kiln to a smooth finish. To finish the process in the kiln, the glass is cooled very slowly—annealing phase. This process makes the glass stronger. This piece is 12mm thick. NOTE: We do not recommend washing this piece in the dishwasher—due to cold/heat variations of the dishwasher. Please hand wash.
