MEET THE ARTIST: Josephine Oliver
Exploring a small canvas I chose the fish figure to work with. Fish speak to our human tale of abuse and each of these represent the horror and beauty of our relationship with nature. I have recently returned to the Comox Valley and at a loss for words in this intertidal world I have turned to art. As I explore acrylic painting, while painting houses as a day job, I am considering scale, limitation, expression and the possible.
