Description
Place the candle stands just right and the two will become one. The candle stands express a sentiment. Each candle stand has a different pattern. When the two different patterns come together, they become one. This pattern incorporates flowing geometric shapes into the modern design.
The candle stands are made of acid etched aluminum. The artwork is applied to the metal with a special paint that is acid resistant. The artwork is submerged in acid. The acid eats into the unprotected surface. The background is removed and the artwork is now raised in high relief. The candle stands are hand buffed to a beautiful jewelry finish and signed by the artist.
The candle stands will not tarnish and need no polishing.

The name “Jacob Rogers Art” comes from combining the last names of two artists: Joe Jacob and Evy Rogers. We work together to integrate fine art with function. We combine our experience and talent to create art clocks, tables, and functional art accessories that mix beautifully figured woods with paintings etched in metal. Rogers and Jacob have studios in Pennsylvania where fine art meets fine craftsmanship. Rogers designs and hand paints the aluminum pieces in her studio. Jacob has a metal and wood workshop/studio where he acid-etches the art into the metal. He incorporates the acid-etched metal art with wood to create the rare and original Jacob Rogers Art.
