Small Handbuilt Ceramic Yarn Bowl with deep flower texture, Handmade Pottery makes a great gift.
Approx. 6" diameter and 5.5" tall
I create each piece by hand, slabs are rolled, textured and joined to form a cylinder, then darts are cut and joined to make it taper to the foot where another slab is added. After it stiffens a bit the slot is cut to guide the yarn. The yarn bowl is glazed and fired to 2185 degrees in my electric kiln, steps outside of my San Diego home studio.
