"Skeleton and His Spider Wingmen" by Jessica M

In this piece, I set up my still life to create a story. I have the skeleton dressed up and holding a rose as if he were to be asking someone out on a date. I have the spiders on and around him to make it look like they are his wingmen trying to help him out. I decided to make the piece in grayscale so that it had a grim feeling to it. I originally planned on using just acrylic, but then I decided to use colored pencil as well to help certain parts of the piece to pop out better. The background is more simple, yet trippy, to help the focus be more on the main subject.
