Set with a shimmering gem as blue as the deepest sea, this ring is simply exquisite. To either side of the sapphire-blue crystal, tendrils of sterling silver curl gently into the shape of ocean waves, or perhaps into the shape of a heart. Which do you see? Either way, this ring is sure to set you dreaming of mermaids and sunken treasures and underwater kingdoms.
The Ocean Depths Ring is made of sterling silver, and measures 7/16" across at its widest point. It is available in sizes 6-9, whole sizes only.

The vibrant blue gem is man-made. It is made to mimic the beauty of a natural sapphire, at a fraction of the cost.
What is the name for that gemstone shape?
Gemstones like this one, which are cut in an elongated oval with points at either end, are known as a "marquise" or "navette" style gem.
