This cool chapel is 16 1/2 x 8. It has a swag roofline made of trim from an old church steeple stained glass window from Clinton Tennessee. The windows are made of old hinges. My chapel doors are always mounted in an open position. Maybe there’s a message there. The steeple is part of an old spindle. The cross on the door is old wire mounted with copper nails. The columns by the door are not identical as they are a spindle I cut in half. All of my pieces are signed and branded.
Check me out on instagram! weathered.creations. As I create I posts some of them online there.
I love taking old architectural pieces, and bringing them together to create something beautiful. There is beauty in the broken. Watching each piece I create come together gives me great satisfaction. Using old tin, copper tubing and a vast selection of other antique pieces, I create chapels, bottle art and other wall art items. I’m especially drawn to hearts, so those are a favorite to create as well!
