This fun chapel is a bit over 24 inches tall and 7 1/2 inches wide at the widest point (which is the bottom step). The arches on the roof line are made out of old pieces of a stained glass window on the steeple of a church in Clinton Tennessee. The windows are made from old ceiling tin from a building built in 1911 in Alabama. The wood is an old piece with the original layers of cool chippy paint.
Check me out on instagram! weathered.creations. As I create I posts some of them online there.
I love taking old architectural pieces, and bringing them together to create something beautiful. There is beauty in the broken. Watching each piece I create come together gives me great satisfaction. Using old tin, copper tubing and a vast selection of other antique pieces, I create chapels, bottle art and other wall art items. I’m especially drawn to hearts, so those are a favorite to create as well!
