This is one of my favorites. So I found an old piece of wood with old flower decals on one side and these cool metal brackets screwed on the other side! I mounted old architectural salvage pieces on the bracket side. The metal curls are old shutter braces from Charleston. There are other pieces that have a key opening. A key is mounted on the top with maybe some symbolism. 😊 all of the pieces I use are old and recycled. I use copper nails to attach everything. I sign and brand each piece I create.
Check me out on instagram! weathered.creations. As I create I posts some of them online there.
I love taking old architectural pieces, and bringing them together to create something beautiful. There is beauty in the broken. Watching each piece I create come together gives me great satisfaction. Using old tin, copper tubing and a vast selection of other antique pieces, I create chapels, bottle art and other wall art items. I’m especially drawn to hearts, so those are a favorite to create as well!
