I was completely baffled by her existence given my history of fertility struggles, and that the world was dealing with the worst pandemic of our lifetime. Sometimes, the most beautiful things are created from the most barren of soils. Like a universe from dust. I was so excited to meet someone so stubborn and determined to live...and I'm completely honored to be her mom.
