MEET THE ARTIST: Leslie Starr
Leslie is a Canadian artist who loves to play with colour. By using colour she strives to capture the essence of a moment, and to evoke a mood and a connection for the viewer. She thinks there is nothing more interesting than the landscape of a face or even the weathered planks of an old barn and then to discover the minute details that can be accentuated by pushing the boundaries of colour in her art. For Leslie, everything around her has character, and her language of expression is colour.
