"Shepherdess" 15" x 30" gallery-wrap canvas

This image is entitled "Shepherdess" as I feel this female figurine's responsibility is to care for her fellow souls here in the graveyard. The abbey is over 850 years old and is a stunning piece of architecture. Most of the gravestones you see are over 6' in height. This presentation is a photograph printed on canvas on my large format printer. It is coated and gallery-wrap stretched on a 1.5" deep keyed wooden stretcher bar. "Gallery-wrap" means the edges are all image and "keyed" means there are small wooden keys in the joints on the back of the piece that should the canvas ever become loose on the stretcher bars, the keys are tapped pushing them into the joints of the stretcher bar and the canvas will again become taut. The image is signed and numbered from the edition of 250.
