Sempervivum atlanticum

  Sempervivum atlanticum is a low-growing succulent that produces small rosettes of pale green, red-flushed leaves, especially when exposed to intense sunlight. These rosettes typically reach a diameter of 3.2 inches (8 cm) and form a compact mound, with short stolons that freely produce offsets. The leaves are fleshy and finely hairy, measuring up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length and 0.5 inches (1.2 cm) in width. In the summer, the plant produces 12-merous flowers with white to pale pink petals and broad red-purple median bands, supported by leafy stems up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall.
