Description
While walking at Stinson Beach in California I came across a beautiful Sand Dollar. I picked it up and took it back to my studio. I carefully opened up the back, being careful not to fracture the delicate shell. This Sand Dollar necklace is actually made from an impression I took of the inside of the Sand Dollar! I then made a mold from some starfish that I have had since I was a child. I combined these along with a stunning Blue Topaz to create this unique statement piece. It is made from .999% Pure Silver also known as Fine Silver. I polished the piece to a high shine and added a patina to enhance the details of the piece.
The piece is approximately 1 1/2 inches across and hangs from an 18 inch wheat chain.
