Sacrifice

She is Amora. She bleeds for those who have found love and lost it; for those who no longer hope. She bears the wounds of promises broken and futures shattered. The solitary hearts are her subjects and her charges, she is both beholden to them and their keeper. The heartbroken find no solace in her arms, but no false promises, either. Love is not always gentle or kind, love does not always shelter and protect.
