Description
Erno Rubik, a Hungarian professor, made the first cube in 1974 as a teaching aid to demonstrate 3D space. He filed a patent in Hungary in 1975 and it was awarded in 1976. When the cube became popular, the patent was then filed in the USA in 1981 and was granted in 1983. This patent is the US version and is in English language.
