Multi-strand Double Wrap-around Leather Bracelet custom made to your size! This bracelet features a unique as well as easy to use magnetic buckle clasp. Handmade to order, this bracelet will likely become your everyday go-to bracelet for everything from the most casual to very elegant events! Five strands of soft supple leather wrap around your wrist twice with a magnetic buckle creating as pretty a bottom side to this bracelet as the top is! Notice the two completely different looks you get depending if you wear the magnetic clasp facing up or down! Ten silver-plated (or a combination of silver and gold plated…you choose!) curved beads allow the bracelet to wrap easily around your wrist. The beads move easily along the round leather cords, adding movement to the bracelet. Many other color choices are available...in fact, if you have a custom color request, please ask as I'm sure I make it for you! Shown here is a gorgeous red with silver plated beads. Perfect for the Holidays or as a splash of color year-round! The bracelet is made with soft, supple genuine leather. The crescent beads are either all silver-plated or a combination of silver and gold plated. They age beautifully as you can see from the last photo! It is recommended that when you are not wearing your bracelet you store it in the small zip-lock baggie that it comes in. A square of a specially treated anti-tarnish product will be enclosed. Storing the bracelet in this zip-lock bag along with the anti-tarnish product is recommended if you would like to keep tarnishing to a minimum. When the bracelet does start to tarnish, simply rub the beads gently with the polishing cloth that will be enclosed as well. Like all silver and silver-plated jewelry, silver does tarnish. That is the nature of silver. The shine is easy to restore, however, with a quick and gentle polish. Polishing will, however, accelerate the wearing away of the plating. Over an extended period of time the metal underneath the silver plating will start to show through. The more often you wear your bracelet, the more often you polish it, and the less you store it as recommended are all factors that will accelerate the wearing away of the plating. In the last photo you can see what a double wrap bracelet with silver tubes looks like after the plating has partially rubbed off. This is my own bracelet that I have had and worn for many years. I have been asked many times if the combo of metal colors seen in this bracelet is available for sale…it is not! Your bracelet will age beautifully and look like this after an extended period of time. The silver is plated over copper and is what you see showing through. The gold tubes are plated over brass and age and color slightly differently than the silver. Unlike some leather bracelet companies that recommend you don’t wear your bracelet everyday, and don’t polish it, I say wear it, polish it…..but be aware of what the aging process does. I personally love the look! This bracelet is not meant to be worn in the water nor while doing any activity that involves sweat or moisture. Please be sure to remove your bracelet before doing activities such as taking a shower, going swimming, participating in a step class or hot yoga class, running, exercise etc. Do not get it wet when washing your hands. Avoid contact with creams, lotions, hair products, perfumes, colognes, etc . This line of bracelets, and jewelry in general, should always be stored in a dry place away from humidity, moisture and extreme temperatures. When choosing the bracelet size best suited to you, please do the following. 1. Measure the circumference of your wrist. This is most easily accomplished with a cloth tape measure. You could also use a piece of cording that encompasses your wrist and then measure the cord. Measure your wrist just above the wrist bone. If you are wearing multiples of these and therefore wearing it slightly higher up your arm and not on your wrist, measure that spot instead. Please measure accurately! 2. A “Small” has a finished size of approximately 6” to 6 1/4”, a “Medium” approximately 6 1/2” to 6 3/4” and a “Large” 7” to 7 1/4”. Most orders will fall within one of these 3 sizes. Choose the finished bracelet size that is approximately 1/2 to 1” larger than your measured wrist size. This bracelet looks great worn close to the wrist but can also be looser if that is your preference. Please measure your wrist carefully and choose based upon not only your wrist size but your preference of close fitting vs slightly looser. Need a custom size? They are just too much fun to make and to wear, so I have to make more the just one! They are certainly fun to wear as just one bracelet but can also be easily worn stacked...i.e. several at one time! They look great stacked with other leather bracelets or cuffs and bangles of any sort, too.
