The first in my Radioactive Phoenixes series: Radium.
This phoenix stands above a pile of cracked teeth and broken jaws - a common ailment of glowing-watch-dial painters who shaped Radium-laced brushes in their mouths. These women were known as the "Radium Girls", who tragically not only died horrifically, but had their illnesses shrugged off as 'syphilis' by the company that hired them to avoid legal responsibility.
A print of my painting "Dreamseeker". This is an 8X10 inch semi-matte print, and comes in an archival clear bag with backing.
