Description
"Polar Family" is an artpiece made entirely from our own alpaca and Jacob Sheep wool that has been processed and used in this piece. I create this by using a needle felting technique - which is done by using specialized felting needles and meticulously pressing in wool strand by strand int a wool base. I utilize shading techniques by blending the wool colors when I create this.
This piece is finished by utilizing a 23" diameter - quilting hoop as a frame - complete with a decorative bow .
