Pedistal Lamp- Ax Vessel with Pewter Glaze

Held aloft by its' gently curved arms, this Ax-shaped oil lamp has a graceful, stately presence. A minimalist black on black with a touch of textured brown on the elongated neck, the curve of the vessel mirrors the curve of the wood "armature" perfectly. Simplicity of form creates elegance! Trouble-free and easy to use, this lamp has a fiberglass wick that will never need trimming or replacing, and comes with a plastic squirt bottle that makes filling the lamp very easy- just lift the stopper and squirt oil into the top. Comes with an info card explaining adjusting the wick, and where to find the smokeless/odorless "Ultrapure" oil I recommend for indoor use. Can also be used outdoors with citronella oil or other lamp oils. The wood base is painted semi-gloss black. Note how the base is detailed; each edge highlighted by a crisp line. The rods are poly-coated steel. The glaze on the piece you receive may not be exactly the same as the one pictured, but it will be very similar. These look great on mantels, credenzas, table centerpieces or bedside. Their strong presence also makes them excellent for ceremonial use..
