"Panacea" is an 8"x8" watercolor and acryla gouache painting on an 8"x8" wood cradle sealed with an archival acrylic varnish that is ready to hang in its new home. "Panacea" is one of my Wunderkind paintings that feature magical critters. This one in particular is one of several based on spells from the Final Fantasy series, which has had a huge impact on me as a creator. I created it after celebrating Lucien being seizure-free for 6 months off medication, which is a huge milestone for him since most children who continue to have seizures once they are no longer on medication will have one in the first six months. The spell "Panacea" removes poison and venom, so it seemed an appropriate title for this piece.
