Description
Do you ever feel under pressure working on the clock? Do you have deadlines to meet? Blow off some steam, or just get inspired to create with this steampunk-style fedora. It's a lightweight felt with a wide brim and adjustable inner-band for the perfect fit. I've added a recycled, buckled faux-leather hat band embellished with a big square washer (square peg, round hole, right?); an old metal nut and watch dial on the front are held in place by metal pincers. On the back are vintage typewriter keys. The steampunk style is not overdone - who knows, you might even get away with wearing this to the office!

As artists we are drawn to Steampunk because of its basis on an appreciation for reclaiming something old and making it new again, for cherishing the long-lasting and well-made. It revels in a sense of history, of having been somewhere. Steampunk wears its history on the outside, and we share that.
