Description
New Day is a colorful piece put together improvisationally, kind of like a jigsaw puzzle. I choose a bright color palette and made the individual units, then arranged them on my design wall until I was happy with the result. The curved motif in the center reminded me of a sunrise, which is where the name came from.
This piece would be perfect in a narrow space that needs a splash of color.
Stitching lines add texture with a whimsical spiral and jigsaw puzzle motif–one of my favorites.
Mounted on painted black canvas with a wire on the back for easy hanging.
