Description
Original oil on canvas framed in "floating" whitewashed wooden frame to expose gallery wrap. Canvas size is 30"H x 40"W. My frames add 3" to the height/width dimensions of the canvas size. Framed dimensions are 33" H x 43" W. Dimensions noted below are for the shipping crate if shipping via FedEx. My sister bought some land and built a farmhouse outside of Brenham, TX 20 years ago and I am fortunate that I get to visit it from time to time. If you are familiar with BlueBell Ice Cream, you know that cows consider Brenham to be heaven. These may not be dairy cows, but they were certainly enjoying their morning stroll.

I paint in studio with oils on canvas from photographs I take as I travel the coastal South. I have such wonderful memories of growing up at the beach on the Bolivar Peninsula that I am particularly drawn to paint coastal birds, boats and landscapes near the shore. I was born and raised in Beaumont, TX and graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from our hometown university, Lamar University. After a career in advertising, I returned to my first love - painting.

I am a studio artist who paints with oils. I still build and stretch my own canvases. I accept commissions and also offer giclée reproductions of my original paintings on canvas and archival watercolor paper.
